Was Einstein a believer?

Evidently not, though he was a great deal more respectful towards faith than many believers in science today.

This comes in handy durring Sunday School. My fifth and sixth graders appreciate a break with a little physical exercise.
The Washington Post staged an experiment where they had one of the world’s most gifted violinists play baroque and classical masterpieces in a crowded subway station. Would anyone notice? Hat tip: Daily Speculations.
Great article by Phillip E. Johnson which I need to read again and summarize better. Maybe “Beware scientists bearing metaphysics.”
“Fake” as they say, which means staged, but funny anyway.
It disappeared from YouTube; here’s another link.
Heavenly Father,
You are most glorious. You created the universe and sustain it by Your word. All things reflect Your power and majesty because only You have the power to make a thing exist. You made us for Your pleasure but we rebelled and ruined ourselves. You made us for love but we made ourselves hate You and each other. We made ourselves Your enemies.
All this was according to Your plan. You purposed from all eternity to show Your wrath and mercy through Your Son Jesus. You crushed Him with the wrath we deserve and gave us mercy through His blood. You made the cross the center of all reality, the point of all being. You demonstrate in the crucifixion who You really are. You are magnificent in holy wrath and You are humble and love mercy to the point of death. Thank You for making us receive Your mercy.
Please impress the truth about Yourself on our minds and hearts. Fill us with Your Spirit and make us know You and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Knowing You is loving You Father. Knowing You is true life.
Amen.
